PostBeagle has a built-in MCP server. Connect an AI assistant such as Claude and it can read your campaign and audience reports and prepare campaign drafts for you - written as real blocks that open in the email builder. It cannot send or schedule anything, and it never sees individual subscribers. You review every draft and send it yourself.

Once connected, you work in plain language inside the assistant you already use. These are the kinds of requests the PostBeagle MCP server is built for.
Monday morning
The assistant reads your recent campaigns - delivery, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounces, attributed revenue, the links people actually clicked - and tells you what worked.
Subject: How did last week’s campaigns do, and which one earned the most?
Planning the next send
It writes the subject, preview text and body as headings, text, images, buttons, columns and product grids, picks the list, and saves it as a draft. You get a link straight to the builder.
Subject: Draft a newsletter about our autumn sale for the Customers list.
After you have looked at it
Restyle the draft in the builder, then ask for changes. Blocks the assistant does not touch stay exactly as you left them, and blocks it rewrites keep their styling.
Subject: Make the intro shorter and change the button to "Shop the sale".
Before you send
It can email a test copy to the account owner’s address - and only that address. The real send is yours to press, in PostBeagle.
Subject: Send me a test of that draft.
Create a key under AI Assistant in PostBeagle, paste the setup snippet into your assistant, and start asking. Free plan, no card.
The assistant sends structured content, not HTML. PostBeagle turns it into the same blocks the visual builder uses, so a draft opens there like any campaign you built by hand.
There is no send or schedule tool. An assistant prepares drafts and can mail a test to the account owner; the send button stays in the app.
Reports are totals and rates. The server has no tool that returns a contact, a recipient list or an export, so subscriber addresses are never put in front of the model.
Assistant keys are separate from your API key and are accepted only by the MCP server. A leaked key grants the eleven tools and nothing else. Revoke any key in one click.
New drafts pick up your logo and brand colour, and every draft ends with the footer that carries your address and the unsubscribe link - even if the assistant leaves it out.
Coupons, product cards, social icons and custom HTML blocks you added in the builder are carried over untouched when the assistant edits the rest of the email.
Drafts render with the same table-based markup as campaigns made in the builder - not whatever HTML a model happened to write.
Assistant requests go through the same checks as the app itself: account ownership, reputation gates and the hourly test-email limit all apply.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to the tools and data they need. Instead of copying information in and out of a chat window, the assistant calls a small set of well-defined tools on a server - here, PostBeagle’s.
PostBeagle runs a remote MCP server, so there is nothing to install or host. You add its address and a key to your assistant, and the tools appear.
The tool list is the permission boundary. It is short on purpose:
Any MCP client that can connect to a remote (Streamable HTTP) server with a bearer token. That includes Claude Code and Cursor; the AI Assistant page in PostBeagle gives you a ready-made command for Claude Code and a JSON snippet for other clients.
One-click connectors inside the Claude and ChatGPT apps use a different sign-in method (OAuth), which PostBeagle does not support yet.
In PostBeagle, open Settings → AI assistant (MCP), name the key after the assistant you are connecting, and create it. The key is shown once.
Paste the command or JSON snippet shown next to the key into your assistant’s MCP configuration.
Read the setup guide →Try "How did my last campaign do?" or "Draft a welcome email for new subscribers." Open the draft from the link it returns, adjust it in the builder, and send.
