These Affiliate Terms govern your participation in the PostBeagle affiliate program (the “Program”) run by Beagle Software ehf. (“PostBeagle”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The Program runs on the affiliate platform of Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, which handles applications, referral tracking and payouts. By applying to or taking part in the Program, you agree to these terms. Learn more about the Program on our affiliate program page.
1. Joining the Program
We review every application by hand and may decline any application. If you plan to run paid search ads, you must say so in your application.
2. Commission and payouts
- You earn 30% of every payment made by a customer you referred, for as long as that customer keeps paying.
- Commission is earned on payments, not signups. A referred account on the free plan earns no commission until it pays for a plan.
- Lemon Squeezy pays out commission. Each commission is held for 30 days, and the minimum payout is $10.
3. No spam
Promoting PostBeagle by unsolicited email, SMS or social media direct messages ends your membership immediately and forfeits any unpaid commission. As an email platform, this is the rule that matters most to us.
4. Paid advertising
You may run paid search ads on generic and competitor keywords (for example “woocommerce email marketing” or “mailchimp alternative”), and you must say so in your application. You may not:
- bid on “PostBeagle” or any misspelling of it;
- use our name in a way that makes the ad look like it is ours;
- point an ad straight at postbeagle.com.
Your ad has to land on your own page, such as a review or comparison.
5. No self-referrals
No commission is paid on your own account or on your own company’s account.
6. Coupon and cashback sites
You may not promote PostBeagle on coupon or cashback sites, or publish fake discount codes, unless we have approved it.
7. Disclose the relationship
Wherever you promote PostBeagle, you must say clearly that you earn a commission.
8. No misleading claims
- Make no promises about inbox placement or deliverability.
- Don’t describe features PostBeagle doesn’t have.
- Don’t pose as PostBeagle.
- Don’t use the PostBeagle name or logo in domain names or ad account names.
9. Refunds, chargebacks and abuse
Commission is earned on payments, minus refunds and chargebacks. If we close a referred account for abuse, its commission is reversed. Repeated cases end your membership.
10. Changes to the Program
We may change commission rates, or end the Program, with notice. Commission you have already earned is still paid.
